Help! Being the sister of an autistic sibling is very stressful. Lets help her get married without stress

BS”D

Dear honored and respected Rodeph Tzedaka V’chessed Shlit”a.

I am writing to you on behalf of my brother-in-law and his family. My brother-in-law is a great Talmid Chacham whose every spare moment is spent in Torah study. He has his daily shiurim that he attends as well as set study sessions. He is one that is Davek in torah and has finished Shas a couple of times. Along side all that he works hard to earn a living in order to be able to provide for his family’s needs.

One of the hardships that face my brother-in-law and his family is the challenge of raising an autistic child. Though raising such a child can often create a stressful situation at home, and takes lots of extra energy, stamina, resolve, and extra funds, my brother-in-law was never one to ask others for help and would add extra side jobs or hours at work in order to be able to cover for these added expenses. Accepting from others was never something he felt comfortable with.

At current their family finds themselves just 2 short weeks before marrying off their fourth child (March 27 (י”ז אדר. The mother of the household has taken on a full time job in order to help cover the cost of marrying off. Yet, with both parents working full time, they find themselves hard pressed and somewhat still in debt from the financial burden of marrying off their previous children.

Their daughter the Kallah has gone through many stressful times while growing up, due to having an older autistic sibling right above her in the family. What a pity that being a kallah, a time that should be one of joyful preparation should be marred by the financial stress that her parents face.

We therefore appeal to you to help out by giving in a generous way in order to ease the situation and thus allow this time to be the time of joy & happiness that is meant to be.

In the merit of this great מצוה of הכנסת כלה and the  מצוהof supporting a true serious תלמיד חכם, one that is looked up to by all of his community, may הקב”ה bless you and your family with good health, happiness, nachas, and kol tuv.

Sincerely,

Avraham Weiss
