Who can say no to an Almana that needs food to make Shabbos for her children?
Rabbi Shmuel Cheshin, Rosh Kollel and Gabbi Tzedaka in E”Y, supports widows and orphans, particularly during the Yom Tov season. He addresses their financial strain and emotional burden, emphasizing the importance of support and assistance. To address these issues, he founded the organization “Bekavod,” which provides monthly stipends to widows for their sustenance and special assistance before Yom Tov. The organization is under the auspecies of Rav Yitzchok Berkowitz, a prominent Rav and Talmid Chochom who is committed to Tzedaka and Chesed.

He loves Jews and knows what he’s doing.
He knows how to do things and he knows how to get money to people.
In an honorable way…Bekavod means with dignity.
He knows how to do this.
This is the most worthy cause.
Anyone that can help please do and do your utmost.
For example, with Hashem’s help, we gave very respectable packages worth 8,000 NIS for Pesach, which included food vouchers worth 3,000 NIS in addition to a bank transfer of 2,000 NIS, and another package of products consisting of poultry, meat, and fish, matzos, wine, and more worth 3,000 NIS Total value about $2,200 USD, and this brought light and joy to their homes.
Please help us to cover these expenses as best as you can.
