Hi, my name is Rabbi Yissachar Dov Katz. Founder of “Yad Lemeyuchad”.
I have a child suffering from autism. After experiencing first hand the difficulties one goes through while caring for such a child, I have decided to take action and I founded an organization to help families with these children.
I called the organization “Yad Lemeyuchad” which is a devision of the organization “Chaim Lemarpe”.
Our organization provides a “warm home” for these special children suffering from severe disabilities such as autism and paralysis.
Our mission is to help these children while offering a relief to the overwhelmed parents, by providing various therapeutic services, trips, and activities, especially when its most needed like on Shabbos and Yom Tov, and even on a daily basis after school hours.
Now with the CoronaVirus and limited schooling, we are experiencing extreme difficulties as we need to stretch our limits to provide more than ever before.
We are now acquiring a brand new activity center, and are in desperate need of funds to be able to continue our mission.
