N. S. started a business with a frum married man that eventually scammed him and left him with heavy debt that is owed to not so great people who are threatening his life if he doesn’t pay them back.
They have been severely harassing him and it it not safe for him to return home to Eretz Yisroel. He has the backing of great Talmidei Chachamim like Harav Dovid Schustal Shlita.
Harav Dovid says that this is a great mitzvah and that whoever helps him will be blessed with all the brachos of the Torah. Generally, the Vaad Hatzedaka of Lakewood does not endorse bochurim, but due to his grave situation and the backing of great talmidei chachamim, they made an exception.
