No explanation is needed for what is happening now in Eretz Yisroel. No word would suffice to describe the terrible situation our brothers and sisters in Eretz Yisroel are experiencing.
The city of Ashkelon is only 9 miles away from the rocket launchers in Gaza! In the past 2 weeks all they hear is rockets launching, Iron Dome interceptions, sirens, and worst of all rockets hitting homes, Shuls, vehicles, and other targets.
CHILDREN ARE SLEEPING ON THE STEPS OF THEIR APARTMENT BUILDING HALLWAYS! THE LUCKY ONES ARE ON THE FLOOR OF A BOMB SHELTER!
Everyone is affected! The families who were wounded or lost a loved one are broken and devastated! The families who lost their home, have nothing and have no where to go!
Imagine the children going through all this! Many of them now suffer from post traumatic stress, sleeping disorder, and severe anxiety, requiring mental health assistance.
Imagine the families who are stuck in their own bomb shelter or in one of the 30 public shelters around the city! The children are out of school, the adults cannot work anymore, and cannot go shopping or make Shabbos even if they are still able to afford it!
PLEASE! Open your heart to these families living under constant attacks. PLEASE! Give these families hope as they live in fear not knowing what the next day will bring.
